Organized by Orthopaedic Biomechanics Materials and Clinical Study, the International Symposium on Orthopaedic Trauma was successfully held on the morning of July 23. The speakers invited by the organizer were experts from home and abroad, including Prof. Ivan S Tarkin, Chief of Orthpaedic Traumatology, UPMC, Prof. Lei Wang, The Sixth People's Hospital, Shanghai Jiaotong University, School of Medicine and Prof. Zhengqiang Luo, Tongji Hospital Tongji Medical College of HUST. The guests shared their academic experiences on the treatment of distal tibia fractures. Experts and scholars from Tongji Hospital Tongji Medical College of HUST, Red Cross Hospital, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Guizhou Provincial People's Hospital and the Affiliated Hospital of Youjiang Medical University for Nationalities attended the round table discussion. The symposium obtained over 2,500 Internet clicks from Chinese channels and near 2,000 clicks from English Channels. Academic exchange and communication have no national boundary.
